MoviraTivi on Samsung Smart TV: 11 steps from install to your favorite home channels

1. Note your model code and software version

   Open Settings, Support, About This TV. Write down the model code and the software version. The code tells our team the model year, which decides which players your store shows. If a software update is waiting, install it now under Software Update before you add any app.

2. Open Samsung Apps with your account

   Downloads need a Samsung account. Make one on your phone and sign in on the TV; spelling an email address with arrow keys is slow. From Home, go to Apps and use the search icon.

3. Choose your player

   Look for IPTV Smarters Pro to begin with. The app is free, accepts the Xtream login and sorts live channels into neat categories, though not every country carries it. If it is missing, install Smart IPTV. Smart IPTV runs free for a trial period, then its developer asks 5.49 EUR once per television, paying for the app and nothing else.

4. Connect Smarters to your MoviraTivi account

   In Smarters, select Login with Xtream Codes API and call the profile whatever you like. The server field takes the full address, http:// included, ending in the port number. Add the username and password exactly as in our message, with the same capitals. Save, and let the app build your lineup.

5. Smart IPTV instead? Use your phone

   The opening Smart IPTV screen displays a MAC address for the TV. Visit siptv.app/mylist in a phone browser, enter that MAC, then add the MoviraTivi M3U link. Older sets short on memory work better with the save-online box ticked. Submit, then restart the app on the TV to load your channels.

6. Wait for the lineup to load

   The first load brings in every live folder and the program guide. A large lineup can take several minutes on an older set, so leave the remote alone until the categories appear. After that, the app checks only for changes and opens much faster.

7. Find your home-country folders

   In Smarters, select Live TV and scroll the categories on the left. Folder names begin with the country, so the USA, Canada and UK groups are easy to spot, each split into news, entertainment, kids and sport. Canada has English and French folders. In Smart IPTV, scroll the group list the same way.

8. Favorite your everyday channels

   Pick out the channels your household uses weekly and mark each as a favorite; on most versions a long press of Enter does it. Local news, the big networks and two or three family channels make a good start. The Favorites category then opens straight to your short list, without scrolling through thousands of entries.

9. Set the picture for live TV

   Motion processing sits in the Expert Settings part of the picture menu, called Picture Clarity on newer sets and Auto Motion Plus on older ones. A medium level is a sensible start. If faces look waxy, lower it. Film Mode and Standard picture mode suit most live channels; Filmmaker Mode suits movies from the library.

10. Steady the connection

    TV Wi-Fi chips are often weaker than a phone, so Ethernet is the best upgrade if the router is near. On Wi-Fi, use 5 GHz. Uninstall apps nobody opens to free memory, and switch the TV fully off at the wall now and then to clear it.

11. Add another Samsung or any other screen

    Install the same player on a second TV and enter the same details. Both stream together if your plan has two or more screens. Smart IPTV activation is per television. Guide data, and catch-up wherever a channel provides it, travel with your MoviraTivi login.

Which IPTV players Samsung TVs offer, honestly

What the Samsung store offers is Samsung's decision, and it shifts with region and production year. Checking in October 2026, we saw IPTV Smarters Pro in many countries, with Smart IPTV filling the gap elsewhere. IBO-type players turn up too; they pair the television through its MAC and a key entered on their own website. We could not find iMPlayer in the Samsung store, and TiViMate has never been made for Tizen.

When the Samsung store has nothing suitable

Add a small Google TV or Fire OS streamer through HDMI and TiViMate, iMPlayer and Smarters all become available on the same login. Follow the Google TV walkthrough or the Firestick walkthrough, and read the Smart IPTV guide if you stay on the TV app.

Check your channels before you choose a plan

Open the folders for where you live, or where you come from. Our US lineup page, Canada page and UK page describe what each country folder holds. Local stations cover a selection of markets, so look for yours during the 24-hour trial.

Software updates sometimes rename these menus. Treat the paths as directions, and if your screen shows a slightly different word, pick the nearest match and carry on.

Channels pausing in the evening? Five checks that usually fix it

• Connection: use an Ethernet cable, or move closer to the router on 5 GHz Wi-Fi; 2.4 GHz through several walls is the usual weak spot.
• Home traffic: hold off console updates, large downloads and cloud backups while you watch.
• Player: where the app has a buffer setting, raise it one step, and leave hardware decoding on unless a single channel acts up.
• Picture: switch on frame-rate matching if the device has it, so camera pans look smooth.
• Channel: if one copy of a channel stalls, open another copy in the same folder and tell us which one failed.

The store shows no IPTV players

Catalogs vary with region and year. Confirm the region setting on the TV is correct and search once more. If the list is still bare, share the model code with us; a Google TV or Fire OS streamer on HDMI remains the dependable fallback.

Live TV is blank in Smarters

A large lineup loads slowly on older sets. Allow a few minutes and reopen the app. Still nothing? Remove the profile, add it again with the Xtream login rather than a playlist link, and let the categories rebuild.

Smarters refuses the login

Remote typing causes most of these. Enter the server again, http:// in front and port behind. Avoid voice typing, which adds spaces. Check capitals in the password, and check your trial or plan is still active, because nothing renews automatically.

Channels freeze in the evening

Check the TV is not on 2.4 GHz, which slows down badly at peak times. Move to 5 GHz or a cable, pause downloads elsewhere and power-cycle the TV. A single channel that keeps freezing is worth reporting to us by name.

Playlist gone from Smart IPTV

Resetting or reinstalling clears the stored playlist. Go back to siptv.app/mylist, enter the MAC from the app screen with your M3U link and relaunch. The activation belongs to that MAC, so no second payment is needed.

Smearing on quick movement

Go into the Expert Settings of the picture menu and change Picture Clarity or Auto Motion Plus. A middle setting suits most live channels. If you see halos around moving objects, turn it down. Compare Standard and Film modes on a channel you know well.

The app closes after switching input

Tizen shuts background apps to reclaim memory, so simply relaunch. Frequent crashes call for a clean start: remove the app, keep the power button on the remote held until the TV reboots, then install it again and sign back in.
