Where we stand
Television, film and sport are made by people who deserve to be paid for their work. We act on properly formed takedown requests made under America's Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and on similar complaints from Canada, the UK or other places. A notice that ticks every legal box leads us to pull, or cut off access to, whatever it points at. The US Copyright Office DMCA overview describes the law itself.
Routes for a notice
Send it on WhatsApp to +44 7451 256085 and start the message with "DMCA notice" so it goes straight to the person who handles copyright. You can also use our contact form, choose "Something else" as the topic and include a number where we can reply.
What a complete notice includes
Name the protected work, for instance a channel, programme or film, that you say is being copied.
Point us to the item you want taken down, with a precise location so our staff can find it quickly.
Tell us who you are: legal name, mailing address, telephone and the reply channel you prefer.
Declare your good-faith belief that neither the owner, nor an agent, nor the law has permitted the use complained about.
Confirm that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you hold the right in question or may lawfully speak for whoever does.
Sign it, on paper or electronically.
Our response times
A complete notice gets an acknowledgment from us inside 2 business days. Within 5 business days the flagged item is dealt with. Incomplete notices are paused while we explain which detail is absent.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice by the same routes. Include the identity and contact information a notice would carry, along with a sworn explanation, made under penalty of perjury, of why you think the takedown was a mistake. Repeat infringement
Where an account is linked to repeated, valid copyright complaints, we close it under our terms.
Reach of this policy
It applies to everything published on movirativi.com and everything delivered through MoviraTivi logins. Questions about setup, billing or channels belong in normal WhatsApp support, so copyright notices are not lost among them. Personal details in a notice are handled as described in the MoviraTivi privacy policy.
False or careless claims
