What you need before opening Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
- A TV whose store lists Smart IPTV: LG webOS or Netcast, Samsung Tizen from 2022 on, or an Android-based TV or stick
- The MAC address Smart IPTV shows on its first screen
- The M3U address in your MoviraTivi welcome message
- Any browser on a phone or laptop; the playlist is sent from the developer site
Still without a login? Request the 24-hour MoviraTivi trial (no card) and follow along on your own TV. Curious what your home folders hold? See the USA lineup, the Canada lineup or the UK lineup. When it all works, compare plan lengths and screen counts.
Smart IPTV (SIPTV) setup: 11 steps from install to your favorite home channels
Install it, then photograph the MAC
Search the TV app store for Smart IPTV and install it. On first launch it shows a MAC address: six pairs of characters separated by colons. Take a photo with your phone. Misreading one pair from across the room is the most common reason uploads fail.
Open siptv.app/mylist on your phone
In the phone browser, go to siptv.app/mylist. Enter the MAC from your picture, then drop the MoviraTivi M3U address into the URL box. Tick the option to detect the EPG so the TV guide comes through. Press Send and wait for the confirmation message.
Close the app completely and reopen it
Smart IPTV reads the playlist only when it starts. Pressing Back is not enough; exit the app fully, or switch the TV off and on, and launch it again. Older televisions may need close to a minute before the list shows.
Find the USA, Canada or UK folders
Folders come from the labels inside the MoviraTivi playlist, and the home-country folders are listed first: USA, Canada and UK, each split into news, networks, sport, kids and entertainment. Spanish-language and international folders follow. Open your country to see its channel list.
Move around a folder quickly
Once a folder is open, the channel keys move you up or down the list mid-show. Plenty of remotes also accept a position number. Note where your local news and favorite networks sit so you reach them in seconds.
Save a short favorites list
If your version offers favorites, mark the channels you watch most. The list lives inside the app on that TV only. With 25,000+ channels in the playlist, ten favorites save a lot of scrolling.
Ask for a lighter playlist on older TVs
Some older sets struggle with a very long playlist. WhatsApp our team for a lighter link that leaves out films and series. Send that one to the same MAC, then restart. Folders open faster and the remote feels more responsive.
Pick an audio track where available
A few channels carry a second audio track, for instance French on some Canadian channels. During playback, bring up the app menu and check for an audio track setting. Most channels carry one track, and results depend on the TV model.
Give the TV a steady connection
Smart IPTV has almost no playback settings, so the network does the heavy lifting. Use a cable where you can and close other apps on the TV. If a channel stutters, try another version of it in the same folder.
Activate the app once you are happy
When the in-app trial runs out, the developer asks for a single 5.49 EUR payment for each TV or device, paid at siptv.app/activation against your MAC. This pays for the player only; MoviraTivi does not sell or bundle it. Test our channels first and keep the receipt.
Repeat for each extra TV
The upload and the app fee are tied to one MAC, so each TV needs both. Apart from that, your MoviraTivi plan decides how many screens may stream together, from 1 to 5. Star the WhatsApp message with your M3U link, because the app has no other way to sign in.
Smart IPTV or a full-featured player?
Smart IPTV takes minutes and no extra gadget, which suits a bedroom TV or a relative who wants one simple app. A full player gives you more control. Here is the honest comparison.
| Point | Smart IPTV | Smarters, TiViMate or iMPlayer |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in | M3U uploaded to the TV MAC on a website | Xtream server, username and password on the TV |
| Country folders | Taken from the labels in the playlist | Sent by our server; you can hide or sort them |
| Playback settings | Very few | Decoder and buffer options |
| Two channels on one screen | No | Multi-Screen or multi-view in some apps |
| App cost | One-time 5.49 EUR per TV after the trial | Free core app; optional paid extras |
Upload and activation instructions are on the official Smart IPTV website. Want a richer player on the same TV? Read our guide for Samsung TVs or the guide for LG TVs.
Other ways to use the same MoviraTivi M3U link
VLC, Kodi and similar playlist apps accept the same M3U link, which the M3U playlist guide walks through. To see what each country folder holds before you upload, read the USA lineup, the Canada lineup or the UK lineup. UK viewers should also remember that watching live TV in the UK needs a TV licence, whatever the app.
Ready to try it? Start a 24-hour MoviraTivi trial with no card before you pay any app fee, then compare plans by length and screens.
Want the developer's own word on menus and versions? Visit the siptv.app, the Smart IPTV developer site. What a channel carries on a given day follows what its broadcaster sends. Before you pay, use the trial to open the channels you grew up with and check them on your own screen.
Channels pausing in the evening? Five checks that usually fix it
- Connection: use an Ethernet cable, or move closer to the router on 5 GHz Wi-Fi; 2.4 GHz through several walls is the usual weak spot.
- Home traffic: hold off console updates, large downloads and cloud backups while you watch.
- Player: where the app has a buffer setting, raise it one step, and leave hardware decoding on unless a single channel acts up.
- Picture: switch on frame-rate matching if the device has it, so camera pans look smooth.
- Channel: if one copy of a channel stalls, open another copy in the same folder and tell us which one failed.
Picture quality on MoviraTivi is 4K, FHD or HD, and 4K shows up only on channels whose broadcaster supplies it. The 4K IPTV page lists the speed and hardware that 4K needs, and our article on VPNs for IPTV sets out honestly whether you need one at all.
Common Smart IPTV (SIPTV) errors and how to fix them
The website said OK but the TV shows nothing
Exit the app completely and launch it once more; Back alone will not reload anything. Compare every pair of the MAC you typed with your photo. The playlist only loads at startup.
siptv.app does not accept the MAC
The website only knows a TV after the app has opened on it once. Launch Smart IPTV, wait for the MAC screen, then try again. Include the colons, and compare every zero with the letter O.
I cannot see my country folder
Scroll to the end, because folders follow the playlist order. If it is truly missing, ask MoviraTivi support to check your link, upload the corrected one to the same MAC and restart.
Sound but no picture
Older TVs cannot decode every stream. Pick another version of the channel in the same folder. When a whole folder does it, the TV is too old for those streams and a current stick is the cure.
A message says the trial has ended
That message comes from the app developer, not from MoviraTivi. Activate at siptv.app/activation using the MAC on screen; channels play again as soon as the payment goes through.
A new MAC appeared when I switched to a cable
Wi-Fi and the Ethernet socket each carry their own MAC. Send the playlist to whichever MAC the app displays now. Already paid for the first one? Ask the developer for help before you pay twice.
No TV guide or times are off
You may have skipped the EPG option during upload. Send the form again with it ticked and restart. If times are shifted, check the clock and time zone in the TV settings.
Sluggish menus on an aging set
Big playlists strain older chips. Pull the power plug for a minute, shut other apps and request a lighter link from us. If speed does not improve, move to a streaming stick.

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) and MoviraTivi: common questions
Do I have to pay for Smart IPTV?
Yes, once the trial ends. The developer asks for a single 5.49 EUR payment per TV or device, made at siptv.app/activation. The fee covers the player, never channels, and MoviraTivi does not sell it. Test MoviraTivi first with the 24-hour trial before you pay for the app.
Which TVs run Smart IPTV?
The developer lists LG webOS and older Netcast TVs, Samsung Tizen models from 2022 onward, and Android, Google and Fire TV devices. Older Samsung sets are not supported. If your store does not show the app, use another player or add a streaming stick with the same MoviraTivi login.
Are SS IPTV and Smart IPTV one app?
No. Two separate developers make them. Smart IPTV links a playlist to the TV MAC at siptv.app. SS IPTV pairs the TV with a one-time code on its own website. Each one reads a MoviraTivi M3U link, so install the one your store lists.
Will a factory reset cancel my Smart IPTV activation?
No. Activation follows the network MAC of the TV, which a reset does not change. You do lose the saved playlist, so upload the MoviraTivi link to the same MAC again and reopen the app. Only if a repair swaps the network board would you need the developer.
Can one Smart IPTV payment cover two TVs?
No. Each TV or device needs its own activation. Watching on two TVs at the same time is a separate question: your MoviraTivi plan sets the number of screens at 1, 2, 3 or 5, so two sets streaming at once call for at least a two-screen plan.
How do I avoid fake Smart IPTV apps?
Some stores list copies with similar names. Genuine Smart IPTV always points you to siptv.app for the playlist upload. Check the publisher and website on the store page before paying. An app that asks for payment inside itself is not the genuine one, so delete it.
